On 11-27-2011,  I called the dealership and talked to someone about a holiday promotion they advertised on the radio.  I talked to this person and explained to him what I was wanting to do.  I also asked him if my bank was one of thier lenders, and he said yes.  He said that he would be there when they opened the next day.  Guess what?  I showed up the next day and he was not there! 

So, another person was helping me.  I wanted the person I talked to on the phone to help me, so I wouldn't have to explain myself again.  I proceeded to pick out a truck, filled out the paperwork, and waited for the salesman to hear back from the finance people.  The finance guy came to me and showed me that he could get me a 10.21% interest rate.  Told him I wasn't financing at 10.21% when my bank can get me a 5.25%. 

Then he tells me that my bank wasn't one of thier lenders!  Now this is after the guy on the phone tells me my bank was!  I told him to give me a few minutes to call my bank.  The bank tells me if they couldn't beat the 5.25% to call them back!  As I was getting of the phone with MY bank,  the finance guy tells me he can get me a 6.19% interest rate. 

I asked him,  how did he come down almost 4%, and who was the lender.  He couldn't tell me who the lender was that was giving me that rate!  I went to another dealer because he was trying to rip me off and they got me a 4.0% interest rate!  What is wrong with that picture?  They were trying to stick me with 2 1/2 times the interest rate than the dealer I went to the second time!
