The Canon Rebel T5i  camera body only was purchased on-line by way of a price comparison site. The price was low as expected (about$) and I added two batteries to the deal. I printed an invoice. The invoice was odd as it gave a " Package price" includding the batteries which was much higher than it should have been ($739.99). The invoice was clearly deceptive and incorrect. There is no way to correct or clarify this without talking to seller.

I receieved an e-mail to call them which I did and spoke to Micky. He talked motstly about the KIT and how I was geting such a GREAT DEAL. He would get me better batteries with longer life for $160, the $140 then down to $130. THe final package was ($739.99). He would also throw in a battery charger now and a tripod with lens strap and 1 year warranty. This was to sweeten the deal. He then tried to sell a 3 or 5 year warranty but I declined. The bait and switch had only worked so far and the 400 dollar body was now $739 with 2 batteries.

When I received the camera, the batteries were clearly very old, drty & dingy stock (2010) and not extended life (1100mhA). The did not work at all. They did not charge or have any power. I wanted my mony back for each battery at $130 each, or $260.

Upon calling Daxmart within 2 business days of receipt , I spoke with Micky (sales) and he transferred me to customer service. I spoke with Roger (who sounds just like Micky????). This is when the bait and switch became very evident. He explained I had purchased a $600 pluss camera and the batteries Micky sold me were only $60 with a buy one get one free deal in place at the time. I had receive a Japan camera sold here in the states at a cheaper price and that was on the web site (NOT). [Of course you canot go reproduce the website you purchased the camera from now. Pluse what does that have to do with the fact that the batteries don't work and I want my money, $260 back?] None of this Japan or BOGO stuff had been part of sales. The Invoice they sent was deceptive to prevent the real prices of the items from being apparent.

Roger was insulting and threatening in his manner on the phone while trying to resolve this dispute. At no time would he consider returing money. He only would send some to me. He threatened never to authorize returns so that if I disputed credit card payment I would still be held responsible. He continually offered more and more in the bait and switch mode.
