D.C.S. DIVERSIFIED COLLECTION SERVICES, INC. DCS Diversified Collection Service violates FDCPA, threatens, lies, and misrepresents. Pleasanton, California

DCS sent a letter stating I had a delinquent debt but it was actually an unsubstantiated tax claim by the State of Virginia.    I called them immediately upon receipt and again the next day to try to straighten this out and they threatened me by saying my file was scheduled for legal action that day.  This is a violation of the FDCPA Federal law.

DCS  sent a second letter, postmarked the day after I called them with the title Delinquent Debt Verification Notice.   This is also a violation of the FDCPA and the amount claimed by Virginia Department of Taxation was actually just a fabricated amount, not only was it unsubstantiated but VA Dept. of Taxation admitted no judge had reviewed the case, a step essential to call the debt verified.  

When I called about that misrepresentation the person I spoke with threatened to garnish my wages, again a violation of the FDCPA unless a judge has ruled. 

These people, and I use the term loosely, are not just criminals they are thugs!
