Shoddy work, rip off people all over San Antonio. They buy their supplies at Floor and Decor in San Antonio and the manager Beatrice Petrez is aware that Lone Star Wood and Tile and owner Del Smith rips off people but Floor and Decor lets them buy their supplies there. The authorities have been contacted and warrants are out for theft, damage to property, and fraud. Also numerous complaints against Lone Star and Del Smith and litigation proceedures in civil court.
Del Smith takes avantage of the elderly, doesn't pay his workers and does not pay taxes. Investigation with IRS and Work and Labor Board in Texas has begun in 2008. Del Smith advertises in the Business Directory of the San Antonio Express News in the classified section, in flooring and tile subsections. Del Smith states his is licensed and bonded and the price he charges for installation of flooring.
I contacted the newspaper of Del Smith and Lone Star Wood and Tile criminal deeds, and fraud by letting him advertsie with the paper. The complaint will be in the Defenders on the news and numerous local news reporting.

Since this was reported more victims of Lone Star Tile and Wood have been contacted so they can pursue charges. Because this company has a past of doing this to consumers the police have taken the case. Del Smith of Lone Star Wood and Tile had ripped off elderly homeowners from his flooring services, so that is a separate charge in itself. Hopefully no one esle will be ripped off.
