DELCO CLEANOUTS MOVING COMPANY THAT DOESNT SHOW UP HOLMES Pennsylvania

Made reservation with this company several weeks ago. Want to use them because they do small removals and i dont need a company that only does 4 hour minimum nor can afford it. This company was supposedly happy to oblige. The day of the move Tom called me at 7:45 am and said the truck broke down and was gona leave it at that. I had to pull out of him what can be done. he said he would call within an hour. I waited well over an hour to hear from him. He tried to pawn me off on another company who wanted a 4 hour minimum and he knew that i couldnt afford that. he then agreed to come thur June 3rd at 6pm with the attitude that i was inconveniencing him. I handled myself very calmly given the fact that this put me in a very bad predictment with no regard from this man/company. i now cant go on vacation that i had planned. i had people to help me this week with move and cleaning that had to be rearranged. I decided to send him a nice/tactful email to say with all things considered it would not be unfair for me to ask for compensation of some sort.  He writes back "diana, i may not even have a truck for the week. you should have gone with other mover. i know it may have cost you extra money but you'd have had the job completed tomorrow. you may have to go that route anyway. i know its an inconvenience but things happen.  My father having seen my crying was very upset and left him tactful msg and in the end said to calll back or he will talk to his lawyer. Tom calls and leaves us both messages and says " not my probelm! and i dont appreciate your threatening emails/calls (no threats made) and not his problem i cant afford another moving company-GET another MOVER!." This company had an obligation to move me and on day of move doesnt show up. doesnt take responsibility and doesnt honor their agreement. Pushing me off on another company that i cant afford is not how you conduct business. When this is a main part of your business you have a plan b ie: renting a truck. What an utterly unprofessional, unreliabe company. I urge people to never patronize them if you dont want this to happen to you. I am now left scouring to find someone at the last minute.
