Delta Camera Bait & Switch Multiple Lies Brooklyn, New York

Ordered new camera (829.00.  I was assured was in stock and would ship immediately.  Salesman asked if I wanted better battery, stock battery would only last 20 minutes.  Then asked about warranty extension.  Then said I'd need a high speed memory card.  He tried to get me to order a bundle (1164.00).  Checking 3 days later, order had NOT shipped.  Checked internet complaints and found numerous regarding this company, so I first checked my cc account on line.  No charge posted.  I then called to cancel the order and was told it had shipped, so I asked for the tracking number and he couldn't give me one because it HAD NOT shipped.  I insisted on cancelling the order, so then he said there would be a 15% restocking charge, FOR AN ORDER THAT HADN'T EVEN SHIPPED.  I hung up, went to my on line credit card account and cancelled my card to avoid an unwarranted restocking charge.  Just talking to them you can catch them in lie after lie after lie.  I would advise anyone to be VERY CAREFUL.  This is a bait and switch scam.
