This is the last straw. My family and I have been a loyal d**k Scott customer for many years. Though I have had many complaints for the d**k Scott Corp I kept going back because the staff under the management (cashiers, porters and mechanics) have always taken care of me, have been kind, and courteous. With my dealings with this company I believe I have found the root of fault with this once Five Star dealership.

I believe the fault in this company lies strictly with management and upper management. There are many example of this but the one I wish to discuss in this complaint is that of an experience I had in their quick lube.

I was informed that they were understaffed and that there was only one tech in quick lube today. There were also two other customers waiting when the Quick Lube advisor, Cheryl Farr, received a phone call from the service manager. Since I have been a customer for many years I know that Ms. Farr was speaking to Rod Harris the service manager. I and the other customer being in the same room and able to piece together the conversation found out that d**k Scott had a friend coming in immediately and was to be given a FREE oil change and that the quick lube tech had to stop what he was doing and work on this car. Ms. Farr asked Rod Harris "you want me to make three paying customers who have been already waiting to wait longer so Mr. Scott's friend can get an oil change?" The answer was YES. Ms. Farr apologized to us.

Fortunately for the rest of us, another tech was called to help in quick lube, probably being pulled off another job. Regardless this latest experience with the d**k Scott corp. cares more about sucking up to d**k Scott and his free loading buddies than providing service for paying customers.

Boycott d**k Scott Corp. They have no respect for their employees or customers.
