I came to Patrick as a small business owner looking to create a website for my business. Nothing major, what was supposed to be a 5 day project turned into a month long nightmare of waiting and added expenses. His initial quote of $2,400 quickly turned into $4,000 after some "SEO" and "Marketing" associated things he was going to do for my site to help me rank better. After 1 month the site was finally operational. Shortly after he asked me for another $600 to increase traffic to my site which was supposed to get me more clients(neither of which happened).

A couple of months after that he asked me for $1,500 to create a unique logo for my business which I truly believe until this day he bought off Etsy.com or Ebay.com. The logo turned out to be a bust and I currently am not using it.

Foolishly I gave Patrick everything he asked for trusting he would do the right thing for a potential long term client. I was wrong. All he did was keep his hand out asking for more money at every turn of the corner with no results. It has been over a year now and I am seeking a new web developer. He taught me a valuable lesson to always do my homework before hiring anyone to do work for me and to be skeptical with web designers.
