Using a search engines to purchase one book, I was lead to www.discountbooksale.com. I thought I was simply purchasing a book at a discount rate. Unfortunately I fell victim to a scam that I see many others have fallen into as well. 



It turns out in purchasing this one book, I was then charged $9.95 a month. I did not authorize permission for this monthly charge nor did I want or sign up for any type of book membership. The website is deceptive and misleading and there isn't disclosure on the site that provides consumers any clear notice that the purchase will lead to a membership.



When I contacted this company they told me I tried a 'free' membership for a limited time which i was fully unaware of. In doing further research on other complaints about this company, apparently there is a 3 day free membership. If you do not cancel w/in these 3 days, the company will charge your card. 



Do not purchase from this company! They are highly unethical and I cannot believe a company would take advantage of people like this, particularly with the state of our economy.
