I left them a message:
" I am sorry. It would have been such a pleasure doing business with you. However, your method of payment is not acceptable. It smacks of Nigerian scam. It deprives me of any buyer protection offered by my credit company. It certainly reflects ill on you, if you cannot support a US bank account, or even PayPal. I have made direct payments to UK by way of PayPal.
So, no dice on the moneygram. Do not use my information for any purpose."

Give me a break!

"I don't understand why moneygram is such a problem??"
You're kidding, right? Sending a Moneygram to someone you don't know is the electronic equivalent of handing cash to a stranger on the street. Legitimate businesses do not operate this way, although almost ALL scammers require that their victims transfer money this way. It's the only way they can get your money without leaving a paper trail.
From the Moneygram website :
"Have you found something online that interests you - a puppy, a car, an apartment for rent or any item for sale? Does the price for the item seem to be too good to be true and are you being asked to pay for the item through a MoneyGram money transfer? Unfortunately, this is a SCAM. Do not send money for the item to the seller. They may even send you a letter or e-mail of authentication telling you that you have purchased the item but need to wire funds first. Do not send the money. It is a SCAM. You will receive no merchandise. Once money is wired and received it cannot be recovered and unfortunately you will be at loss for any money transferred."
Nice try, though

Not so unbelievable

I bought a PS3 and a hdtv from this company. A friend recommended them so I didn't thought moneygram payment would be a problem. They shipped both items exactly as promised. I don't understand why moneygram is such a problem?? I had a paypal account, long time ago, and I had only problems with it, they kept blocking my money, I heard horror stories about them. check out this website: www.paypalsucks.com. Go try to purchase an item with the credit card from newegg.com or bestbuy.com. They put the payment on review for 3 days, and after that you will have to send a scanned copy of the credit card and proof of your identity? www.discounts-electronics.com is a great place to buy electronics, no delays, no hassle, you just pay by moneygram and then you receive your item in record time. They have a B plus BBB rating, they are Merchant Circle Verified.
