I responded to the web-site dollars-4-gold.ca because a friend told me it was a safe way to get cash for unwanted jewelery. I sent them a necklace, a gold pendent, gold bracelet and one gold diamond earing on July 7. On July 11, they sent me an e-mail saying they received the jewelery and its value was $930. On July 17, I received a cheque in the mail dated July 10 for $87.02. When I called to complain and ask for my jewelery back, they said they would send another cheque for $140, but that it was too late to return the jewelery because it was now ten days past when they received it.


I would like to warn everyone not to do business with dollar-4-gold.ca because I learnt the hard way that they do not give fair value, nor honor their own refund policy.
