Dormia Mattresses - Classic Sleep Products Inferrior Product with Deceptive Warranty Jessup (manufacturer); Phoenix (vendor) Jessup Maryland

The following copy of my response to their declining my warranty claim is self explanatory:

As far as I am concerned, your deceptive efforts in considering the warranty claim have been literally a scam. Contrary to what you state, the mattress from original high point, as evidenced by the high ridge in the center, to the depth of the depressions significantly exceeds two (2) inches and an accurate measurement using a true plumb-line has clearly documented that. The sales rep (Shirley) at Sleep Savvy stated that the Dormia Ambrosia' mattress was high quality, that it would provide superior support, would not develop deep impressions and did not require flipping or turning; all of which has proven to be false and which became obvious within the first few months. As I told the sales rep, I was not only looking for a high quality mattress that was comfortable but also one that would provide excellent long-term support for my problem back, as my then current 15 year old mattress was developing impressions and now provided questionable support. I paid a premium for the Dormia mattress, more than I have ever paid for any other mattress, and that obviously was simply not justified as the Dormia mattress has proven to be inferior to any I have ever owned, which incidentally were bought for a lot less money and even were still superior when they were 15 or more years old.

The Dormia mattress has not only proven to be of poor quality in not providing good support but it has also developed deep impressions and is actually very uncomfortable, clearly being considerably less than what was presented and what was paid for. What has transpired since I registered my first complaint, within the first few months after purchase, has been an obvious effort by both Dormia and Sleep Savvy to avoid responsibility and to falsely justify denying any legitimate claim. I may end up with having to live with the inferior quality Dormia mattress until I get to replacing it but you can be assured that neither myself nor anyone I know, nor even anyone who hears of my experience, likely will ever purchase a Dormia mattress or anything from Sleep Savvy. That may seem insignificant to you but I suspect that it is being multiplied by many dissatisfied customers and will ultimately cost you dearly.

It is a real shame that you conduct yourselves as you do!
