I am with the other reporter here 100%.

You want to make some extra cash from home. You see a site that looks clean, honest and appealing. You make that first click and find that you are asked to pay $27. Fine. I did that. Once that is processed you are brought to another page where I was asked to pay $67. Ok, I did that too. Again you wait for it to take you to the site where you will finally be able to see how to set up your money making website but, ah, there is another page telling you that you really should upgrade to "pro" for only another $97.

I finally saw the light and stopped. Something inside me said this was getting fishy and if I really wanted to upgrade, I was sure I could do that later - in spite of the ticking meter saying that my time for this "reduced" price was running out. (The "sale" is still going on 2 weeks later btw!). Life got busy and I didn't have a chance to really get into the meat of the 6 or so emails that had been sent to me by Kimberly Hoffman until today.

I was allowed to set up some non-descript website (basically a carbon copy of the one the other poster links to and the one that I began this unfortunate journey on). But, there was no help at all as to what to do with the dang thing now that I had a url with someone else's copy on it. Then the phone rang. Oh good, I thought. After over an hour on the phone with Mr. Mike Cee - calling on behalf of Kimberly Hoffman, I was told that this is for people who want to invest in their own business (yet he still had yet to tell me exactly what the business is!). He said most people invest between $3,000 and $10,000 and even tried to tell me how to apply for a credit card (leveraging of OPM - other people's money - HA). Not having that kind of money lying around and not willing to even think of looking for a means to find some for a business that Mr. Cee wouldn't even explain has left me here.

Hopefully I will be able to get my money back.

Bottom line, buyer beware! Dot Com Creations (who has no BBB report but is listed) seems to pulling some kind of internet scam. Maybe, just maybe, if you had an extra $10k to play with you could make money doing exactly what they are doing...taking $27, $67 or $97 from other hopefuls out there. Not my idea of an honest or responsible way to earn a living in my humble opinion.

Not A Scam - Kimberly Hoffman's My Online Income System

AUTHOR: Will - (United Kingdom)

POSTED: Monday, May 31, 2010

I want to state that Kimberly Hoffman's My Online Income System is not a scam, but you do have to be very "wise" when it comes to any money making program whether online or off. I'll try to be brief and to the point (which I sometimes find hard to do!)

I joined Kimberley Hoffman's My Online Income System about a month ago, after doing a bit of research looking for ways of making extra cash from home.

I am not sure how you came to pay $27, then $67 and then another $97 before getting your "Pro upgrade". That is a lot of money to pay out especially when you don't have much cash to spare. Here is a tip when considering buying any make money online programs or anything else for that matter: try to leave the page before paying for anything, and you will very likely be offered a discount - and if that isn't good enough for you, click the button to leave the page altogether and sometimes you will be given a further discount. This is a very common marketing method on the internet.

That is how I got the standard Free Website with access to members resources including a 60 Day Action Plan for $17. After I got to Day 20, I then decided to upgrade to "Pro", to get my five websites (more flexible and modifiable than the Free Website) and also access to more video material and other resources. This cost a further $47 (after first of all being asked to pay $97 then $67).

At this point in time I am still on Day 20 of the Action Plan, because I have had to attend to other things over the last 10 days or so and am also considering setting up my Pro websites, but I can honestly say that I have learned a lot about affiliate marketing and feel that the $57 (plus the UK value added tax of 17.5%) I have invested has not been wasted - far from it in fact.

Let me say a quick word about Clickbank. You can have as many accounts with Clickbank as you want and it is free. Clickbank is not the only affiliate network system where you can get your affiliate products to promote, but it is the most well known and biggest.

To conclude in summary, Kimberley Hoffman's My Online Income System is a genuine product that shows you the fundamentals of how to make money in the world of affiliate marketing. But the big negative of MOIS  is where some of the telephone consultants are too pushy - I think that they are basically trying to sell an additional one on one mentoring program. Fortunately, during my research I was made aware of this "invitation" to spend more money - $3000, that's a lot of money! - and so I am "wise" to that "game". I am not saying that what you will be paying for is not worth it - maybe it is, maybe it isn't - but you already get access to resources that should help you on the way to actually making money. Should you choose to get a refund within the 60 days guarantee, I don't think that this will be any problem.
