Doug Bayer J Douglas Bayer Land scam Martinsburg West Vieginia

In 2017 we gave Doug Bayers a deposit of 4000 for some land he was selling,he then told us he needed another 3000 for engineering plat survey stake out of sewer and water property corners..we did not think we’re unusual after months and months he claimed Berkeley County planning commission was holding things up in the meantime we rented equipment cleared property installed pipe for driveway installed partial driveway remove old fencing remodeled an old building on site then we got our first red flag ...our builder asked for money or stake out of well/septic ..we then went back to Doug who said we misunderstood him the money all went to engineering we had given him .we later found out he was in a land dispute that was held up by a greedy man named Dan Stewart due their arguments we were unable to purchase the land and asked for at least our deposit back which stated in the contract If not approved by the county deposits will be returned....We have since moved on still haven’t got our house started we are currently following up with a lawsuit..Beware of property for sale on Slonaker Lane
