Douglas J.Brooks attorney that i hired for $2500.00, has been nothg but a headache to me.  He is very unethical and is not even true to his word.  He like to lie to his clients and say things are scheduled or filed with the court.  Yet if u call the court nothing has been filed.  Once he finds out you've called the court he gets pissed off at you.   I referred a friend to him for a different cade and he keeps saying he's done this or that but hadn't done s*.  I file for my divorce on Aug 1, here it is Feb 13, 20 15 and I'm still not divorce it's sitting there in default.   His a* will not set a date or show up on a day in court cuz he's a real piece of work.   Default cases are heard daily without app mon thru fri in ft worth at 830 am.  I've told him this per the vouttbclerk, he basically told me she didn't know anythg.
