In April of 2008 I purchased a car and the financing was through Wells Fargo. The interest rate was high but I needed the car after making 5 payments made on time I sought other financing. I was accepted for refinancing through Roadway loans for an interest rate of 15%. I filled out the application and it was approved. It was not until about a week before my first payment was due that I was informed that Drive financial had purchased my loan paper. That is where all my problems started. I was contacted by Drive and told that they did not have information insurance my references and my place of employment. I ask why they needed that since all the information was on my original application. I gave it to them anyway. This went on for several months and I had to continue to give them information over and over again. Then every month about a week before my payment was due I would get an harassing phone calls telling me I had a payment due. I December I was Laid off from my place of employment. I have been able to make all my payments on time for Drive Financial. In July of this year (2009) I tried to contact Drive and let them know that I may have a problem keeping my payments currant This was in the early part of July, my car payment was not due till August 15 2009. I was trying to let them know what might happen. I tried on several occasions to talk to their customer service and each time I talked to them and ask to speak someone else that might be able I was told no. I did file a complaint with the BBB of Dallas. I received a e-mail with a letter attached stating Drive was sorry for the inconvenience and to call their compliance department. I have made 6 calls and have left messages and as of today no one has returned my calls. When I got the e-mail from BBB of Dallas I was asked if I would accept their jester and I did reply no but with the stipulation that I wanted to wait and see if the company would follow through. They have not I did not want my car financed through Drive but I was left with little choice and now I am paying the price. Out of $4300.00 payments only $1800.00 has been applied to the principal, the months of April and May my entire payment was put toward interest. I was told that the only way anyone would talk to me is when my payment went into arrea
