On July 30, 2015 DTR Towing stole my vehicle from an unmarked parking space while I was on an emergency service call leaving me standing at my client's house with a handful of tools. After running down possibilities of who may have stolen my vehicle from an unmarked parking space, which by the way has no warning signs, permit required signs, or if you are towed call........, or anything else of this nature.

After my client made a few phone calls while I was on the phone with the police, we found out that it had been stolen by DTR Towing in Manassas.

So off we went to DTR towing to retrieve my truck. DTR towing charged me $160 for a vehicle that they stole. I presume the $125 was for the towing as neither of the two boxes were marked either for towing or impound), and another $35 for a storage fee. A storage fee? We were practically right behind them. Nothing had to be stored! It is a 10.39 mile trip that takes approximately 15 minutes!

I was towed for a vehicle breakdown in the middle of winter and it only cost me $70 to be towed from Fairfax to Manassas! Now, they were a great towing company and I used them again to move my vehicles when needed!

The vehicle sat at the dealer's lot for a week and they charged me nothing! Here, according to my receipt, my vehicle was stolen at 8:10 pm and I picked the vehicle up at 8:46 pm. $125 for towing and another $35 for a 36 minutes vehicle hideout? Really? Really?

When my vehicle was released by someone behind the counter, I was told that I was towed because I did not have a parking permit and that my State Inspection was out of date. Since when did the state of Virginia make DTR Towing an "Authority Having Jurisdiction" and bless them with the authority to tow a parked vehicle with an out of date inspection sticker.

When the tow truck driver didn't see any signs posted about parking permits or towing announcements, where was his common sense????  The vehicle was not illegally parked by any stretch of the imagination!

I have a great distaste for unethical people and businesses with unethical business practices and no morals.

What DTR Towing did was exactly that.

It is a towing company like DTR Towing of Manassas, Virginia that gives other good towing companies a bad reputation. Come on DTR Towing clean up your criminal act! Go get real tows where people are illegally parked or are needing vehicle assistance and stop stealing service vehicles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
