Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Scam? CA

I received several calls and messages from 3 individuals at Dub & Bradstreet Credibility Corp (DBC). The first call was from Michelle saying we had unusally high inquiries on our Duns number and it is advised that we give them a call. We used to be a subscriber to their services and I had no intention of returning their call. When I did not call back, my partner received the same message. When he did not call, they left a message for our office manager to have either myself or my partner call her back. After not returning their calls, Nate now called and left me the same message.

Again, I did not return the call. Michelle called again and left another message; so after two weeks of this, I called Michelle back so I could stop the on-slaught of calls. While speaking with her, she indicated that our score were strong and offered their seervices for us to make our scores stronger, which I opted not to take; but I did get a chance to air my past frustrations with false reporting on our company (this is another report for another time). So after the conversation with Michelle, I felt good that some of the negative/false reports are finally being weeded out of our Duns credit report.

Now, not less than one day after I spoke with Michelle, Marlena called from DBC and left a message stating that there has been quite a few inquiries (sound familiar) on our account and that some of our scores have declined. Strange how our scores are strong one day, and after refusing their services, our scores have declined the next day.

I know DBC ethics are questionable at best, but they destroy small businesses for their own monetary gain with no care. Our company has always paid our bills on time and their should be no logical reason for negative reporting other than fraud. The frustrating part is, anyone can give a negative report on a company, and there is nothing you can do about it; DBC won't disclose who is reporting on you and does very little to see if the report is justified.
