He is a charlatan with his staff who are very influential. First of all, he talks about one of the sixteen buildings that he owns in order to grab people’s attention and to explain that what he’s doing now (workshops) is not for money, but is solely based on his good and pure intention to help. He makes people believe that he is devoted to ”not giving up on people,” which is why his staff is EXTREMELY pushy to get people to sign up for his workshop. I believe he is like a leech who is feeding on his staff to bring more people into his circle by going around and being so persuasive about this workshop. If you ask each and every one of them, they all would give you the same answer which is, “I’m committed to and won’t apologize for not giving up on you." His staff looks up to him as if he is their GOD and whatever he says is right, even though he’s acting smart as he says in the beginning of the class that, “What I say is a theory and is not the fact.” His target is most likely naive, honest people who are really out of hope and need the last person to shelter . If he knows that you are willing to devote (more likely to sign up for the next $2000 class) he will give you more attention during the five-day workshop. The whole point of the Discovery workshop is to sell the next workshop. Before the end of the first workshop, he has his slaves (staff/captains) go around and pressure participants into making an impulse decision and therefore signing up for the next workshop. This guy is targeting people’s emotions and getting them on the verge of crying by emotionally provoking them. When he sees that not everyone is impacted by this trick, he starts talking about his deceased father and bursts in tears (crocodile tears). The funny thing is while he is sobbing so hard, the next five seconds (literally five within five seconds) he is laughing and joking around, which makes sense to be emotionally unstable since he used to snort cocaine for many years. He said, “I have been using cocaine for a number of years and thanks to this workshop, I quit in less than a week.” How could any one snort cocaine a couple of times a day for a couple of years and then stop in a week?! I asked him this question and he responded, ”I’m not here to scientifically prove anything to you I’m here to teach you guys I DON’T KNOW WHAT I DON’T KNOW.” This guy, Soheil Navidbakhsh, known as Sam, is a smart guy. He throws a few basic physiological activities throughout his workshop to cover up and deviate people from seeing the real picture of his work. One of his activities reminded me when I was 14 years old when my father used to take me to the mosque. There were hundreds of people sitting in the dark while the preacher (we call them mullah or sheikh) was lecturing. He started by taking people back to their past when they lost one of their loved ones during the war, which was when I could hear people weeping so hard and releasing themselves so that when they were leaving the mosque their faces were glowing. That is exactly what happened on the third night of the workshop when this guy dimmed the lights and talked about people's lives (he knows a little bit about your background) and then his elegy on the death of his father was the "breakthrough" for the rest of the night; then based on that he asks you to bring up and relinquish the sadness, sorrow or even hatred that you have towards someone and forgive them by "letting it all go" and "dance with your inner child." When you tell him that you are mesmerizing and brainwashing these people, he responds “DEEP CLEANING” and when you tell him that this workshop did not work for you, he puts it on your shoulders that “you are so disconnected from the class," or "you are holding a guard from the beginning.” It is all about money and he is a salesman and he is really COMMITTED TO SELL IT TO YOU. I remember the next day after the last session ended, one of his captains called me and started talking about the benefits that I would definitely get from the next workshop (transformation). I just simply told him, "a wise man will not fall in the same trap twice." The guy, captain, got so offended over the phone that I felt that I insulted his religion or his parents somehow. This class is NOT for EVERYONE. If you feel really rejected and have no friends whatsoever and you have nothing to do for the next five days and you know that you will get bored by sitting at home then this is a good class for you because by paying $545 (discovery work shop) you might get to know a couple of people who are willing to be your friends.
