I ordered $250 worth of parts and put another $100 down as a deposit through the EastRC.org site on a model airplane that was back ordered only to have my card immediately charged and then a month go by without receiving my order. I tried to get ahold of them but they have no phone line!!! You have to fax or email!!! I should have known right then and there this was a shoddy scam of an operation. That and the fact that they go by other names as well such as NC R/C and Down East R/C ( look at the bottom off their web page)
I tried to call the "dealers" listed on their web page only to have all of them say they never applied to be a dealer and many said "who is East R/C?"
Do not by from East RC unless you want to be scammed! They also own Scootworks.com that has an F rating at the BBB for not shipping customers orders!

The parts I ordered from East RC were shoddy at best. The company doesn't have a phone number to call them because I guess they get inundated with complaints every day. You have to fax them a complaint or send it via email. That way they can choose to not answer when you have a problem.
I did some searching and found out the owners David and Debbie Hockaday filed for personal bankruptcy in February 2013. They also have several outstanding judgments against their company scootworks. If you search on the web you'll find Numerous complaints where they did not ship product or took a deposit for products they never made.
I would recommend not doing business with East RC or any other company that the unscrupulous owners David and Debbie Hockaday are involved with.
I was ripped off but you don't have to be.

This is a total fake ripoff report posted by Mike. No such order exists, nor are the claims true. We have been in business since 2007 and have an excellant reputation.
This person has is engaged in a legal action with another company we are owners in, and is making his rounds around the internet undervarious aliases making fake claims in an effort to stir trouble and damage our business. This is yet another of his bogus and fraudulant claims.
