eBuyUSA.com fake, scam, upsell, shipping charge, tv, electronics, New York Internet

Just got off the phone with eBuyUSA. They told me that the free shipping is through a freight service that will take 2-3 weeks (not 6-9 days as their website states) and that I should pay $199 for Fed-Ex ground. I refused because it was too expensive. 

Tacky up-sale? Sure, but I can't blame them for trying. The extra shipping time does piss me off, though.

I checked out the Fed-Ex website and ground shipping (4-5 days) would only be $110. I called back to see if I could haggle and only pay the difference. I spoke with a different person and he told me it would be $254 though fed ex, and that's after splitting the difference. He then told me that there is no free shipping option and that I would have to pay the extra $254 if I wanted the TV. I canceled my order. Now I'm reporting them to the FTC (I already filed a complaint against EastCoastTVs). You can't advertise free shipping then tell people there is no free shipping and request $254.
