Econo Air contacted my 80-year old Mom. (which is illegal to contact a senior citizen in California)

Told her she needed a new air conditioner and Duct Work. The air conditioner was only 8-years old.

Econo Air charged her $9500.00 for the unit, duct and labor.

Econo Air did not change out or conceal the asbestos boots.

I contacted Econo Air on numerous occasions to no avil.

Econo Air contacted my 80-year old Mom. (which is illegal to contact a senior citizen in California)

- Interesting, I have lived in CA all of my life and I have never heard of a law that states a business can not contact a Senior Citizen. Can you help us out by posting the specific law you are talking about.

If your mom gets a "cold call" who out of the blue say they need a new air conditioner and agree..seems like there might be more issues and something in this report is being left out.

Now, I am not saying that they did or did not do anything wrong. As there are other laws that specificly protect seniors. However, the point is I have never heard of a law that forbids anyone from just contacting them.
