Econolodge Resort ripoff abused & mistreated Kissimmee Florida

My family was put at the Econolodge when I was told that Kingstonian which I paid for 7 nights, was under renovations. I was told that the Econolodge offered the same services, fitness ctr, beauty salon/massage parlor, restaurant and lounge, American/Caribbean cuisine, live music, and most importantly shuttle buses to and from the airport, and for the theme parks.

Michael from Kingstonian had to pick us up from the airport on April 16th because Econolodge did not have an airport shuttle. When we got there we were so disappointed. This place only had a swimming pool, not useable fitness ctr, and the toilet even overflowed on us when it was used. This place was a dump.

We got deserted at Universal Studios and did not have the hotel number or directions on how to get back there. It turned out that the bus went to the wrong place for the pick up. I had to call information which gave me the only Econolodge that was listed that turned out to be the wrong one. They gave me another number and I finally got a hold of Jorge.

He told me I am on my own and gave me the bus company, Caribbean Island Tours and Transportation, phone number for me to call them. I made so many phone calls on my cell phone and know for a fact that the roaming charges will be unbelievably high.

I thought that it was the job of the hotel to take care of their customers and not let them fend for themselves. When I reached the bus company they told me they can not help me. I called back Jorge who hung up the phone on me. I could not believe that I was been treated like this after having reservations for 5 nights at this hotel. I had to pay for transportation that drove me around because he could not find the hotel.

When I demanded an apology for him hanging up and my money to be refunded, Jorge called the Sheriff and wrote up a tresspassing note against me. My family and I were thrown out of the hotel to the streets with no transportation or place to go. I was even threatened to be thrown into prison if I did not leave. This was the worst hotel and vacation.
