Edward E. Williams III Cold Closers LLC Mr. Williams asked for advanced payment due to family hardship and never did work for my company. Cincinnati Ohio

We met Edward E. Williams III at the 2010 Black Enterprise Entrepreneur's Conference. We contacted him for marketing for our company.  After a few conversations over a few months time, Edward stated he was having some financial hardship due to a recent divorce and would like advance payment prior to beginning any work for us.  The agreement was to make 100 telemarketing calls a week, and we paid him $600 in advance.

We sent payment through pay pal and Mr. Williams never contacted us after he received payment.  We have filed reports through the BBB as well as the Ohio Attorney General's Office. Our last contact with Mr. Williams was on 12/22/11 when he replied to email informing us that he does not have any money, does not know when he will have money, and that we can take any legal action necessary against him.

Mr. Williams is now operating under the business name of Sovereign Media and Publications.  It is such a shame that he is able to treat people like this; close one company and create a new one.  I want to make people aware of my contact with Edward E. Williams III so they can avoid this happening to them.  He appears to be a very nice person, but you will be deceived. He is a very clever, smooth talker and con artist.
