EEOC - Miami Office Equal Employment Opportunity Commission EEOC - Miami Fails At Diverse Representatives To Assist Citizens Miami Florida

*Consumer Comment: EEOC; U.S. CIS; U.S. DOL; DOH; HHS
The EEOC Miami Office has failed to ensure fairness with other ethnic minorities in South Florida. Recently, I wanted to file and EEOC complaint but was disappointed that there was nobody in the EEOC Miami Office reflective of my ethnic and religious background. It appears that the EEOC Office is also a violator of equal rights for America's diverse citizens. From speaking to one of their representative, I was dismay to find out that there was a lack of Asians and Middle Eastern employees to asssist with complaints stemming from national origin and religious backgrounds in the workforce.

I understand your frustration with not being able to speak to someone representative of your ethnic background. Many EEOC personnel are not diverse enough to understand America’s ethnic and religious minorities. This is also true for other agencies such as US Citizen and Immigration Services, Department of Labor, and Department of Homeland Security. As a religious minority, I find these agencies as not being inclusive and diverse enough to represent our population. With the wave of anti-Muslim bigotry and propensity towards torture, there should not be exclusionary policies against underrepresented minority groups.
