 I totally agree with the original report. I modeled for him in his studio in San Francisco. He said I needed to undress in front of him bc that’s how professional models do it. I asked him to leave the room and he said he wouldn’t. He took up close pictures of my private parts and breasts. He brought me to LA and was poking my thigh the entire ride down there. He promised me $200 for the weekend photo shoot, but I never received payment. When I asked him about it, he said I should have signed up for a time slot at the photo shoot. As a "manager” he should have told me that I needed to sign up for a time slot

I know who you are.  I was up from L.A. when Alan threw you out.  I think you're cracked out or something to blame this on him?

Did you forget, you have a stage mom?  Did you forget, you were sixteen and she was trying to get photographers in the studio to shoot you in lingerie, but Alan wouldn't let you?  Did you forget that I was in the dressing room with you when you were standing there nude, your mom threw open the curtain and invited a photographer in to talk with her while you were naked?  Did you forget that Alan saw it, made you leave and told you never to come back?

This post is about revenge because Alan made you leave.   Dude, grow up.

To all of you girls that are posting, grow up!  I think you are all jealous because Alan is successful and you are not.   If you want to attack someone find a guy we don't all love!  There is a reason he is successful and part of it is that he takes such good care of us all!

I have known about this complaint for some time and have just chosen to ignore it.  I find it so offensive and outrageous, that I have doubted that anybody would give it much credence.  To suggest that I am a fake photographer is simply absurd.  The company is too large and well known for that.

My view has been that anybody who would read it would see through it very quickly.  As an example, it is obvious that nothing inappropriate has ever happened.  You know that by reading the complaint.  She comments that I told her that her mother would no longer have to come with her after she turned eighteen.  That is absolutely correct.  The point is that she was under eighteen.  Her mother was present at every photo shoot.   No matter how badly she wanted to shoot without her, I would not permit it.  All of these shoots were supervised by a parent.

The same is true about the comment about lingerie and implied nudity.  It is absolutely true that I told her that she could do lingerie and implied nudity after she turned eighteen.  It is because, no matter how badly she wanted to do these things when she was younger, I wasnt going to permit it.

I read a prophetic comment by a Model Mayhem moderator in a thread just the other day.  She said:  This is why any time I see any bold warnings like this, especially from people I do not know well, I tend to take them with a huge chunk of rock salt.  Young women seem to really enjoy drama and the feeling that they can save someone by ruining someone else.

So what is this complaint all about?  It is the same as every complaint.  It is about unrealistic expectations.  This girl came to me at age fifteen.  She is only 52 tall.  Her mother had enrolled her in an expensive modeling school, spent a lot of money taking her to a convention and had her signed to a scam agency out of New York.   The stage mom was convinced her daughter could be the next Kate Moss, despite her height.

It is well known that I used to be a talent manager in LA before moving to the Bay.  To suggest otherwise would be nonsense.  Though I was a manager, I was not HER manager.  I allowed her to attend some of my teen fashion events and shot some pictures of her for her portfolio for free.

I did, however, give her advice, good advice.  If she really wanted to model, she should make it a hobby until she turned eighteen.   At that point, if she was still serious, she should look at promotional modeling since it didn't rely upon height.  If she wanted to do print, her best options were swimwear, which is also not height dependent and perhaps some lingerie catalog modeling.  She might also find a little work through some of the Internet modeling sites, but I warned her to stay clear of the nudes.  I told her there were also some small runway events, with young designers that might work with her, although much was unpaid. 

If you read between the lines, you know what this is all about.  I am a professional photographer and run photography events and workshops.  I am not a wizard that can make her a famous, 52 tall model.  She stayed with me for almost two years.  This complaint was posted more than a year after we stopped working together.  She left because she found a manager (or should I say sluggo) that said he could do what I told her I could not.  Today, I see her portfolio posted on dubious sites like starnow.com.  She brags about having a manager and still thinks fame is just around the corner.

To those models that read this and are concerned, I suggest that you do your homework.  There are hundreds of positive reviews and comments about me on the Internet from models who arent afraid to post their name.  To me, posting anonymous complaints is cowardly, because if you tell people who you are, the facts will always come out.
