Eliot Management Group (EMG) requires it's sales people to report daily to an office, make hundreds of phone calls and cold calls per week, and does not pay even a minimal salary or any kind of draw. It is a W-2 straight 100% commission only compensation package. And while promises are made during the interview process as to how competitive their rates are and how quickly money can be made, neither is true. The rates are above average and will not be brought down to compete when necessary, and sales are very few and far between as a result. Great success stories are told, but in the office at which I worked, the office as a whole averaged less than 2 sales a month per rep, which works out to about a quarter of the income potential the interviewer promised.
