Elizabeth Jaramillo eBay user: lizjaram Deceptive eBay selling fraud, Internet

I purchased a New in the Box Clear 4G wifi unit on July 4, 2012 from ebay store lizjaram. The unit was purchased as a backup unit, so when my current wifi broke, i wouldn't experience any downtime from the Internet.

The unit arrived sealed, as promised, so I left positive feedback and just placed it in the back of a drawer until I needed it.

My original wifi broke about three months after I purchased the backup from Elizabeth Jaramillo on eBay. So I attempted to activate the new one. Well, Clear informed me that the unit was still associated with another Clear user's account and could not be activated unless they got authorization from the previous Clear user.

It was more than the 45-day period during which PayPal protection would have covered me, so I had no recourse.  After emailing lizjaram, she replied: "I accept returns within 14 days of purchase and this item was sold on July 4th. I apologize but I won't be able to accept a return on this device because it has been 2 months since you bought it."

Elizabeth Jaramillo is an electronics dealer who conducts auctions not only through eBay, but through sites such as Zamzata and Zeekler. I suggest you avoid this seller at all costs.
