Elk Creek Builders Paul Meacham Lied / 4 months no power, water etc. Helped with a illegal building. Overgaard Arizona

1. Purchased a lot in July and Paul Meacham helped us setup a out building using his carpenters, plumbers. Promising water, power by Sept. We have canceled checks. A. Sept 12 received a stop notice and 10 days to vacate. Paul said he could fix it for $500.00. But had to be payed by 5pm. We have the notice, and withdraw slip. B. We were told contractor license holder was leaving the company. Was told it was his third or forth license holder in the last 4 year's. Not variedfied C. Went to Washington Fedral about changing contractor, no luck. D. Fired Elk Creek Builders E. Paul Meacham claims he had no knowledge about our cabin to his lawyer, and that we had built it without his knowledge. Amazeling we had a visit from the county. F. We are now without a home, a contractor. Until the bank let's us move on from Elk Creek Builders. Much more, but no need. I would highly recommend a background check on Paul Meacham before intering into a contract. Had to install my own electrical service, and tie into septic in November. Our dream of a cabin in the mountains has become a nightmare. 60 years old, no left ankle! To old for this!
