Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
Stay away from EMS. After having to cancel my two merchant accounts, they’re requiring me to pay $1200 even though we processed zero dollars and the accounts were open for 13 days total. Mike T was a complete jerk, threatened me with collection agency referrerals if I didn’t pay EMS the $1200 to terminate. I would not recommend this processor to anyone, I’ll be leaving honest reviews on EMS on every site I can find!

I have the same experience with EMS

In applying with EMS they claimed to have a 60-day cancelation period to trial the service with loss of only the setup fees if the service was not viable for my needs. It took them over 60 days to approve my account, by which time I was already out of business... I did run a couple of trial transactions in the first week to see if the service was going to be a good fit for our needs. It was horrible! And they would not honor the "60 day" trial peeriod because that period had already expired before we were approved!
We asked to cancel the account and were told there was a 6-month early termiation fee so we'd might as well keep it for 6 months to "give the businness a go or use it for anotheer business"... So after forgettinng about the account other than the mothly reeminder of $120+ fee for over a year ($1400 in fees) we called them again to complain that they never cancelled our account as we previously asked them to do and then we were told that there was a 2-year contract that we could not get out of...
They put us out of business before we ever got started. F LI C K EMS!
I canot agree more. AVOID EMS AT ALL COSTS! They are liars and crooks.
