entertainment +extra9909 Sold me local advertising the magazine but it was NEVER in my LOCAL Superior Grocery store. Chatworth, California

A sales person came into my pet grooming salon a few months ago. He told me he had a deal on 1 spot before the day closed. I should have seen the red flag(no time to check if legit) He had a nice glossy magazine and promised me I could get my ad in the local grocery store which is within walking distance of my shop. I thought it might be a good deal and under pressure I went ahead and bought the ad for a year.

I waited several months to see my ad and hunted it in all the Superior Grocery Stores in the metro Los Angeles. Finally, after several months, I found 2 copies in a rack next to the bathrooms. I grabbed them and was amazed to find that all but a couple of businesses were located in the Lancaster/Palmdale area(about 75 miles away). 

When I tried to call and inquire about why my ad was being distributed in another area, they claimed that it was still local. 75 MILES is not local for people to get their pet groomed. Most people chose a groomer close to where they live/work. I refused to pay until they put my ad in the local area. They refused to return any more of my phone calls.

Today their attorney contacted me and forced me to settle for some amount of money. I only agree because I am tired of their lack of concern for a small business like myself. Local means local, not just in the same state.

So my advice is do not advertise with this company. You will not get what you paid for. They will promise you anything and deliver NOTHING.
