we were given a loan commitment and a house was built,we paid cash for many upgrades..also all income and previous years taxes were given prior to the signef loan commitment, then at closing with lani yardley broker and envoy mortgage,ee were told no home loan wil be given to us because we itemized on our taxes as we do every year and envoy and lani were well aware of this....how devastating all the time into the house 5k cash given new appliances purchased....why give a signed loan commitment and tell a builder and buyer we are good to go??? Why do that to someone?? Envoy had all our information upfront, why let a house be built? Why let us loose our house our time and all that $?  I find it cruel and unacceptible...i plan to save more $ and go with bank of america, they seem to be honest and upfront and professional...i hope no ome else has to go through this.......if a deal seems to good to be true, then it is...at this point I pray the builer don klausmeyer will give us some of our $ back and I pray he is able to sell the home......

Envoy Mortgage Rebuttal

AUTHOR: Envoy Mortgage - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, May 21, 2012

Dear Borrower,

We apologize for the inconvenience that you dealt with while in process of getting a loan from Envoy Mortgage. We truly value our borrower's feedback and we look forward to making every closing with Envoy, a successful one. To date, we have a 97% response rate that borrowers would work with Envoy Mortgage again in the future. We pride ourselves in this number and want to rectify the situation.

First off, Lani Yardley is no longer an employee of Envoy Mortgage. She has left Envoy for another bank, coincidentally, the same bank that you mentioned you would prefer to work with. Secondly, Envoy Mortgage will not Cancel or Withdraw a loan based on itemized taxes, we actually prefer this layout. Lastly, we went through Lani's past pipeline and are unable to track your loan without your past loan number or name. If possible, send us your information to marketing@envoymortgage.com so that we may investigate the loan further.

Again, our borrower's satisfaction during AND after a loan has closed is our number one priority. Please contact us soon. Thank you.
