Escrow.com, Discount Salon Supply, Laser Cosmetology Cheated me of $1975.03!!! Advertised protecting buyers and sellers, but only protects themselves. Does not help to refund money if you return the merchandise to seller complying all conditions! Irvine California or Internet

I used Escrow.com as a way to protect myself from fraud or being cheated when purchasing an item online. I received merchandise from the seller, and it was damaged, therefore, I sent it back to the company that was selling the merchandise to me was Discount Salon Supply or Laser Cosmetology Equipment. The company was not sure as to when the merchandise was going to be shipped and informed me that I would be contacted by escrow.com. When I was contacted that it was shipped, two days later the inspection period that escrow.com provides had already expired and I had not even recieved the merchandise.

I emailed Escrow.com on sunday when I got an email indicating the check was going to be prepared and mailed to the seller. I asked them not to send the check, for I had not even checked the merchandise yet. On Monday Escrow.com replied saying they prepared a check to send to the company, and I should have contacted them earlier; however, they are closed on weekends as I tried via phone first. They claimed they would do a reversal on the check and wait for confirmation from me to release the check. Apparently the reversal was never done, and the merchandise I recieved was damaged.

Next, I contacted Discount Salon Supply or Laser Cosmetology via email through admin1@discount-salon-supply.com because they had a return policy of 100% money back guarantee within fourteen days. I returned the merchandise within the allotted fourteen days and asked the company what the status was of my refund. They replied that it would take thirty days for processing. I emailed them thirty days later and they told me a check had been mailed to me. I waited for the check and it never came. The email address admin1@discount-salon-supply.com is a phony email as well since they do not respond to customers like me. They want your money and once they have it they don't want anything to do with you!

I contacted escrow.com thinking they would help me as they advertise PROTECTING SELLERS AND BUYERS FROM FRAUD, and it turned out they did not even have real contact numbers for the company from which I bought my merchandise. If they do not even have reliable contact numbers with the companies selling merchandise, how are transaction going to be safe or better yet how are buyers even protected? They just ask for phone numbers and other contacts, but you could put any number in there, and pose as a seller and rip people off like Discount Salon Supply and Escrow.com did collectively.

They were unable to help me and would not even put a stop payment on the check that was mailed to them. They REFUSED to refund my money and when I filed a dispute with my credit card company, they fought to make sure they won. This company DID NOT protect me just themselves, and is not reliable to protect your money for internet transactions. I am out $1975.03 along with about $35.00 for shipping when I returned the merchandise EVEN though I followed all of the policies. I have no merchandise and am at a loss of about $2000.00!!!! Don't buy from either of these companies!
