Our basement has never had water in it. We had some concern about a very small amount of mold growth. They came out and sold us a $16,000 basement waterproofing system. They started the job on Wednesday. They said they would return Thursday and never showed up. Friday we woke up to more than a foot of water in our basement, on our furnace, water heater, carpet and possessions. They came and pumped the water out; and left our carpet soaked and told us to remove our possessions and plug in our electronics to see if they work. They sent out two guys to check our water heater after a day with no hot water, who smelled like marijuana and told us they were not plumbers. They have not offered any consolation for the damaged goods or to reduce the price of their service gone wrong. The company admits fault; their employee unplugged our sump pump and forgot to plug it back in; after two days of rain we realized it when our basement filled with water.
