I had ordered 2 two-way pagers over the phone. They charged me $187.38 full payment for 2 pagers which I paid with with a credit card.
The service, they said is $17.95 per month per pager plus tax. I agreed to that and only that which I would pay monthly. I am now being charged my regular monthly payment, tax, and on top of that, a monthly installment fee which I never agreed to pay & which I don't even know what it is for.
Representatives I have spoken to said that I have 3 more monthly installments of $10.82 per pager. They have said that this was included in the contract which thay have never sent me a copy of. I have called them twice asking for an explanation about this and nobody has ever given me a clear explantion & I still haven't received the copy of the terms & agreement that I have requested.
I need to get out of this contract or they should do something about this. Something definitely needs to be done to correct this erroneous business practice.

#1 Consumer Suggestion
Do they still have access to your credit card account?
AUTHOR: Jacqueline - (U.S.A.)

It is unclear as to whether or not you want to stay with them, but one way to get a responce is to cancel or change the account number on your credit card. Hopefully they don't have any of your other account numbers. Let them have their little fit.
When they are blocked off from that money, maybe you'll find that contract in the mail.
No feasible decision can be made without knowing your Terms of Aggreements or any other contractural requirements.
They should define and itemized all that you are being billed for, IF this is a part of the contract. You won't know much about how to get out of this, until then.
In addition, these contracts are not just mass produced. It all depends on your purchased monthly package, which can vary, and your calling area. The only other customers who might have the same would be in your area. Even so, it can still vary, based on your credit history and qualifications.
Hope it works out.
