Live in area with limited choices for service, like one Wild Blue. From the day installer came out it was a rip off. Had to pay for new pipe to install their equipment on, already had one 10 feet from the one he put in. He came inside to hookup to my computer and it took him opening three ( 3) NEW pieces of equipment to get one that worked. Four months later the equipment I had to LEASE each month stopped working after days and I mean 14 days on the phone for hours at a time and each time it was that they would send out someone but it would cost me 100.00 to come and replace THEIR equipment and all the time I am without service. I fianlly borrowed the money for the service call Two ( 2) months later and still paying bill. The service is very spoty if there are clouds it does not come in. There contract says that if you go over your alloted amount that the speed will drop but that is a JOKE there is no speed, limited access. So now I have to travel 30 miles to use the internet. I am counting the days to the END OF MY CONTRACT. For what it is costing me for this JOKE they call service and wondering how much this going to cost me at the end of the contract . I WOULD SERIOUSLY THINK ABOUT THIS PEOPLE NOT A GOOD COMPANY

Thank you for responding, . But I would rather this be done so the public can see what kind of company this is. The time lag is I had to use a neighbors internet to check my email. There is suspose to be DATA SLOW DOWN NOT DATA RESTRUCTION as my system is now in. As there is no paper bill it is at your whim
The FCC just ruled that you could not suspened someone over usage did they not?
Calling or emailing will just not show the public if they do there homework before paying for this service what they are getting into. Exede took over last year from most of the dealers and that was the only way I got my service back on and that still took 10 days to get tech to come out and the 100.00 to replace your equipment that I had to LEASE.THIS IS NOT A CAR OR SOME HIGH DOLLAR ITEM.
But with things not made in the USA anymore and no quailty control you get what you pay for, and I have SEVENTY FIVE DAYS AND THIS GOES BACK TO YOU
PEOPLE DO YOUR HOMEWORK There are more companies out there, for use that live out. So I will just have to ride this out.

I first want to appologize on behalf of Exede, this experience you had is not the normal and is not expected from the dealer base. My name is David R Varner and I am an Elite Dealer for Exede and a member of the Dealer Advisory Council to ViaSat. Customer service issues are my passion. I am not an employee of Exede but I have great contacts who can get things done.
You can send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com for help or I can see what I can do. If you send me an email with either the phone number on your account or your mac address found on the bottom of your modem, I can run a diagnostics on your system and send you the detailed information. Then if I see any problems, we can see about getting you back up to par.
Did you contact a LOCAL retailer when you set up your service? If so, have you reached out to them? Always try and find a LOCAL retailer for all your satellite needs, TV & Internet. If you look for an Elite Dealer, chances are they will do a very good job for you.
