My "exotic ShihTzu" puppy tested positive for Coccidia and 10 hrs after the "recommended Vet" administered a Distemper Vaccine, it was too much, and the Puppy required 3 days Hospitalization, 7 days Private Care at home, and is still being treated 1 month later...
Heidi, was notified the same day I found out about the Parasite...from "MY" Vet (not being satisfied, I took my Pup directly there after his visit to the "recommended Vet). I had to "Text" her for a response, . I stated I was concerned for her other "19" Pups, and she became loud and defensive on the phone...Not one bit concerned...
Until I sent her a pic of my Pup with an IV Catheter a week later... she texted "Hows ______ (the name)... Havent heard from her since...
I sent her the Vet/Hospitalization Bills... Via Priority Mail...No response... No "AKC" Papers....
Dont believe the Sparkly, Flashing Lights,AKC Approved Website...all AKC approved statements are from 2009...
Taking Action...for any interested Attorneys in Long Island....The Contract states "all Puppies are PARASITE Free"...
