Made reservation in June for Oct trip to Germany for sales show. Confirmation stated $5,000 for 10 nights, 2 rooms. Pulled up Marriott website using confirmation and it showed over $10,000. Farebuzz said don't worry about it, you will be billed correctly, AFTER check out. October 1, Marriott tried charging full amount of room. CC declined do to insufficient credit of $10,000. According to Marriott this was a prepay room. Nothing was stated on the confirmation and I was assured by Leena (who is also Toble) that it would be billed after the stay. The rooms were cancelled. Marriott had called FareBuzz to confirm reservation in which FareBuzz said they did not have. The room was cancelled. We only found out after our UPS packages were denied.
We called Marriott whom reinstated the reservation with the FareBuzz confirmation. The same day, prior to arrival, the customers rooms were cancelled by FareBuzz. The customer only learned of this after arrival. All other hotels were booked do to the show. The hotel cost them the $10,000. Toble denied cancelling the reservation. I received documentation from Marriott that shows she did cancel the reservation twice. I also received the contract between FareBuzz and Marriott that showed the amount should have been the $10,000 and not the $5,000 FareBuzz quoted us. FareBuzz states it was the customers fault for agreeing to the amount charged by Marriott.
I have tried contacting the President to no avail. I have lost $1,000 in commission plus many, many hours of time. I have 20 pages of documentation between myself, Fare Buzz and Marriott. We are taking further action. My theory is they realized they were charging the wrong amount and cancelled the reservation to save their behinds.

No where on the contract did it state on the contract the balance due was to be paid up front. I had confirmation from FAREBUZZ that the amount would be settled AFTER check out. I used a CC to only hold the room. FAREBUZZ did not contact myself nor the customer that the CC had been declined prior to arrival. FAREBUZZ cancelled the reservation twice on the customer without contacting either of the customer of the agent. Complaints are to be filed with all agencies including BBB and governmental agencies.
I have all the documented proof and emails between FAREBUZZ and myself to prove all accounts. Please place a rebuttle if you would like to see them. President of the company does not acknowledge complaints!
VERY POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES!
*BEWARE AGENTS* FAREBUZZ has also not paid commission for booking that were made beginning in April through this incident in October.

After speaking with Marriott, Amadeus representatives and Toble (SME) following are the details that have emerged in this case:
1. Jun 12, 2007 - Original booking made via Fare Buzz.
2. Oct 1, 2007 - Hotel tried charging the CC on record but CCD (Credit Card Decline). Hotel called FareBuzz to re-confirm booking. Unfortunately, there was lots of disturbance in the phone line and our SME i.e Toble had requested them to either call us again or provide us the confirmation number, please check the email below.

3. Oct 17, 2007 - Client sent the hotel a fax directly to reinstate the booking. They did so after getting new CC information. (Please Note: FareBuzz was not involved or informed about it)
4. Oct 22, 2007 - System auto-generated a cancellation at 4:09 AM GMT .Since there was no update in the system
5. Oct 22, 2007 - Guest shows up at the hotel but has no reservation.
Ultimately, the client went ahead and reinstated the booking without informing Fare Buzz. Apparently the hotel did not update the PNR in Amadeus at that time.
Had the reinstatement gone through Fare Buzz we would have updated the PNR and avoided cancellation. Therefore any claim in this case is due to the interference/oversight/negligence of client and they need to take care of it themselves.
please feel free to call/email me for any further clarification.
