Newport News Card Processing Center Processing Center ripoff, unfair and unwilling to correct their mistakes OLD BETHPAGE New York

In October of 2003 I moved. I sent my change of address to all creditors through post office and individually on payment stubs. I had no problem with any other company.

After a couple of months a realized I hadn't received a bill and panicked. I sent them a double payment and another letter with my change of address and my name change. Still no bill in the mail.

I kept forgetting to pay the bill and kept sending in double payments with a change of address notice. Finally I received a harrasing phone call after 4 months of this.

I was told a had quite a few late fees and that I needed to make a payment over the phone which I did. I explained the situation and asked why they did not send me a bill and I was told they never received the notice.

Still after all that I still didnt get a bill. I went from Novemer to May with out a bill. I have no statements for these months.

I know that the bill is my responsiblity but i tried to make an effort to fix the problem. I worked very hard the last 5 yrs to keep my credit in good order and due to miscommunication this is now on my credit report. All I would like is it to be taken off.

I found a phone number from another report where I could actually speak to a live person. The only thing I received from that person was a fax number. I just feel that its unfair that I worked so hard and one incident like this ruins it for me. I hope that it could be resolved.
