Ferdakort I paid for a map that was never delivered; instead of a refund, I received a run-around Reykjavík

On 6/20/2014 I purchased a 1:250,000 Iceland wall map in the Idnu Publishing store (Brautarholt 8) and asked to have it shipped to me.  I paid for the map and shipping.  The map never arrived. In August 2014, I asked them where it was, and they informed me it was lost in transit.  I made repeated requests for them to send another map, but they didn't.  After 7 months of inaction and ignored e-mails, I asked for a refund in February 2015. They claimed they would do that if I sent my credit card number.  I did, and my credit card coincidentally happened to be stolen the day after I transmitted that information. For my payment I received lies, excuses, and inaction. Avoid Ferdakort; they make nice maps, but you won’t actually receive one after you order it.
