Fingerhut - Jefferson Capital Systems - Recievable Management Solutions Ruined my credit rating for NOTHING Ripoff Saint Cloud Minnesota

In the late 90's Fingerhut extended a line of credit to a KID that was living in my house part-time. This child ordered a few things, but the last item that was ordered, instead of getting the item, got a letter that it was discontinued and whould NOT be getting it. Then the bills came for this item, then the phone calls from agressive bill collectors. I agreed to speak to them on the child's behalf, and somehow MY name ends up on the account. Now, many years later, it is getting reported on my credit reports and they are refusing to do anything about it.

I sent a letter to those sharks today stating that I will pursue legal action for violation of PUBLIC LAW 95-109 (Debt Collections Practices Act) and PUBLIC LAW 108-159 (Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003). Hopefully, I will resolve this soon before going to court.
