Fire Your Pool Guy deceptive trade practice Internet

As was previously stated I have no quarrel with the information, My beef is with the deceptive advertizing...It refers to the product as a
guide..once it does call it a book

Nowhere did it say it was a downloadable e-book...had they simply been straight about this I'd have zero gripes..I felt bait-and-switched after paying my money THEN and only then finding out it was an e-book..

A good product dosn't need deception to sell.

Fortunately, I used paypal as the vendors site became less than helpful
after they had gotten my money.

My beef was not the product but the deceptive promotion. That's about the size of it.

I was a "new" pool owner a year ago without a clue. I found Mr. Duff and his Fire Your Pool Guy website and manual. I emailed him,got his newsletter, and ordered his manual, which I downloaded and saved on my computer. Excellent!. I called for my phone consultation, and while it took a little bit for him to get back to me, he took the time to assist me through solving my pool problem. He responds to emails with detail and is terrific and knowledgeable. I think there are a lot of pool services out there that either dont care or dont know what they are talking about.
