First Capital Consumers ripoff ripoff business from hell Ontario Canada

I recieved a phone call mid-June 2002, promising all these wonderful things and a Stored Value Master Card. First Capitol Consumers took 219.00 from my checking account June 19, 2002. About a week later I recieved my "benefits/welcome" package. The next day I sent out my reply for the credit card.

Aroung August 1,2002, I hadn't yet recieved my card, so I called and I called, and I called, up until this last week (10/24/02). Come to find out their number is nbo longer in service. ( I know their number by heart now, I'd call at least 2-3 times a week, since August!)

Just today I tried calling one of the companies that was in the "benefits/welcome" package, to see if I could get a phone number or address to request a refund. None of them have even heard of First Capitol Consumers.

I never thought this situation would come to this! Now I am on the interent and typed in First Capitol Consumers in a search engine, and I found all of your information and more!

I don't know what to do! I was depending on that credit card for Christmas shopping this year. Now I can't even get a hold of the company for a refund!!

Please help me.
