First National Card/C.C.A. "BEWARE"

This is the second time in approx. 8 months I had recieved one of those "pre-approved for a credit limit of $6,500" cards and letters. The first time I called and asked questions, it did not sound like something I wanted to get myself into. Just yesterday 1/21/02, I got another one! This time I thought I'd do a little more checking.

I called and asked for a catalog to see if their merchandise was something me or my wife would be interested in. I was told that I don't get a catalog until I pay my fee and become a member, I then proceeded to tell him that he was "nuts." No one in their right mind was going to pay let alone give some company that can barely be contacted by phone and who knows which post office trash can all our letters end up at, my checking account number. I said it was a scam, didn't sound to me like it was the first time he'd heard that. The red flag went up. This site saved me from making a big mistake.

I figured any reputable company would have a web site or at least have some information about their company posted. That's when the red flag flew away!! After reading many reports, it almost seem as though C.C.A and C.C.S. are connected. They both have similar names and both are from Las Vegas, Nv. They both have a nasty habbit of ripping people off!
