They give you a false hope that your insurance will cover the cost, when they don't know it for sure. I think they do it on purpose to get us interested in their service, then tell you a different version of payment situation, which at this point is hard to believe. 

They are taking advantage of desperate people who are in need of help.  

I was told, after the collected my insurance info, that everything will be paid by insurance, then next day I was told I will probably need to pay $8,000 - $9,000. An house later, they (same people) told me I would need to pay $16,000 out of which $7,000 is a boarding and meal. $7,000 for 30 days? No one should change your estimate from $0 to $8,000 then to $16,000. If they don't have a clue as to exactly what the insurance would pay, they should not have told me anything until they know more accurate information. 

I feel so sad that an agent made me believe that I can get a treatment immediately and my insurance would pay most of it. It is not the case at all! 

Just anther money making system in the name of "health care."
