I received a phone call on October 26th from Fresh Start, a credit card company. The man said his name was Nigel Parker and his number was 0045. He had a foreign accent and spoke very bad English.
He said that I was approved for a mastercard with a $2500 credit line. He said that all I needed to do was pay a one-time fee of $221.95 that they would take out of my checking account. He also had me to be "recorded" with all of the information about me and my checking account.
I called the number, which he said was "toll free" but it's not, once or twice with a few questions about this card. I had to wait one time for over 30 minutes before I got someone. The lady said it would take around 15 days to receive my "benefits package". Guess what.....December 4th and still no package.
I've tried to call their number for the last two days but all I get is a recording that says "all circuits are busy, try your call later". I called the telephone info and got a number for Fresh Start in Atlanta Georgia. She told me that they were not the same company and that they have received numerous calls about this. She said that the BBB told them to tell all the folks that call about this to call their Attorney General. I'm going to call but it probably won't do any good!

My wife went to the bank today and did as you all said. Our money is to be back in our account tonight. She had no problem getting it back, it's been under 60 days, in fact, the lady at the bank said we weren't the only ones in our area to have this happen. She didn't specify if it was Lenox Capital or not, but these thieves need to be stopped!
I want to thank RIP-OFF REPORT and others on this site for their time in posting these messages about these fraudulent companies and their advice on getting our money back!!! Again,
