On Jan. 23, 2009- I bought a 19" Sylvania HD LCD online via WalMart's site-to-store service, paid for it and picked it up at the local WalMart store in Mena, AR 71953. Less than 30 days after the 90 day warranty period for parts and labor expired, the device went useless. The following is the textual matter of various email messages I have sent and received in attempting to have the device repaired or replaced:

Problem: It displays only 1/2 the broadcast image. The other half of the screen is made up of vari-colored vertical bands. I called customer support and was told it is out of the 90 day warranty period for labor
cost, and is covered for parts only. It is highly suspec that this problem arose so soon after the 90 day period was up, and if I do not get satisfaction I will file a complaint with the consumer affairs dept. of the Arkansas Attorney GeneralXs office. The repair facilities in Arkansas are in Hope & Texarkana, not cost effective for me. I am 68 years old, retired on social security and cannot put up with this nonsense.

Comments:u I paid $198.00 +tax of $17.82 - total $215.82, and the order
number is ----------, dated Jan. 21, 2009 at 10:46 A.M., with my MasterCard debit card online, to be delivered to the WalMart store in Mena AR.
