Galen Equestrian Academy offers equine massage courses, claiming that you can become certified by the USEP. However, many students who completed the course discovered that they could not become certified.
The same guy had already done this in the past with a human massage school. The second school was in Connecticut. Now they've moved to Kentucky. They probably moved in order to avoid a case being built by the State of Connecticut and previous victims of the scam.
They will not refund your money even if you decide not to take the course. If you've already graduated, they won't answer the phone when you want to ask them why the heck you can't become certified.
The man was apparently sued in the past but no one got their money back because him and his wife had already spent it all. Then supposedly he turns around and sues those who sued him.

If they arent associated with the Connecticut
school, then why do they claim to have talked to me? And how do they
know so much about the Connecticut school? The owners of the Kentucky
school are the same people that owned the Connecticut school. Contact
the Connecticut attorney general. They have not contacted me as they
claimed and I have not received a refund. The Usep is fake by the
way. They made it up as part of the scam. If I had become certified,
I wouldn't be complaining.

All of galen equine course grads can become nationally certified - simply contact www.usep.us. There is NO connection between Galen Equine and the Connecticut massage school. If ANONYMOUS bothered checking "she" would read the court records of Galen Connecticut to find that ALL students requesting "refunds" when the Galen CT. school voluntarily closed it doors were fully refunded by an insurance fund Galen CT. paid into, (Fact). It is a good thing there are two sides to every story...
I have since talked to ANONYMOUS and have resolved her only issue (won't answer phone), which had nothing to do with any massage school in CT. For over 12 years Galen Equine has been providing exceptional adult avocational education in equine studies. Galen has students from all over the world enrolled in their courses, providing them with the most advanced therapy available... Interestingly - the very next google listing under "rip-off" lists a Galen Equine grad, nationally certified by usep.....
Galen Equine owners have filed one law suit against a; Jenn and Tom Joyce and Thomas Ackerman who stole two horses from us, starved one to death and 15 others to near death - and we will pursue this matter vigerously.... Galen Equine has never been sued...
