Job Title: Undercover Customer Service Evaluator

I applied online for a part-time job to make extra money and received a letter from Gardfield Research Company.  I received my Part-Time Invitation along with my first check from this company. The letter came with instrcutions as a secret shopper. I contacted Mark Thomas my assigned coordinator as instructed in the letter to authorized and activate payment for deposit. The check was dated July 25th, and I did not get my assignments until August. After contacting Mark Thomas, I deposited the check into my checking account as directed.  We went over the two assignments in the letter. This was my first assignment and I wanted to make sure that I was following directions.

My first assignment was for Western Union, but since this has already been done, Mark Thomas had advised me that I did not have to do that assignment. This assignment required me to go to Western Union and imposed as a potential customer to evaluate their local transfer facilities by sending funds in the amount as instructed on letter. I was advised by Mark to do the next assignment and that I will received my new assignements.  The second evaluation was completed. I did this assignment with Walmart completed the form and sent along with receipts as instructed.

In the instructions letter, my first pay was $300.00

Western Union $1474.00

Western Union fee: 114

Shopping: $100.00 Walmart and to send receipts.

I deposited $1988.58 into my checking account. I withdrew from my checking account $100.00 on the 08/12/13, as instructed the same day of deposit and did the Walmart Assignment as instructed and sent in my purchase receipts along with the form describing my experiences with Walmart. I contacted my assigned coordinator Mark Thomas to question the remaining funds since I did not have to do Western Union. Mark Thomas stated to wait until my next assignments and that the remaining funds will be my pay, since I've completed the one of the two assignments and now considered me for a permanent employee of Gardfield Research.

TODAY, I've learned that my checking account was in the negative for over $2000.00!!!!! The check for $1988.58 that I deposited into my account was returned! I contacted Mark Thomas my assigned coordinator and the number was NOT IN SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have no way of contacting these people! An excitement turned into a NIGHTMARE! I searched on the website to see if this company had done this to anyone else and found them on Rip_Off!
