I was also ripped off when I purchased my Gateway Computer through a credit card they offered. They have since sold the account to another company called Computer Finance, LLC. I have been laid off from my job and they are charging $29.00 accrued late payment charges. They also said on the latest statement, that as a result of the transfer to the Computer Finance, LLC system a portion of September and October interest on my account was not assessed. So the gateway transfer is $17.49. I am behind two months and they say I owe $315.00 to catch up. What can i do to help me in my situation. I do not even have a phone number for them.I am deeply distressed by this and came upon your web site by typing in Computer Finance, LLC which gave me this listing. Sincerely,
Sabrina & Robert

I was really beginning to feel depressed that I let this happen to my wife. We bought a computer through Gateway and financed through Hurley State Bank. It took me and my wife three months to find out who to send our payments to. When we did find out we were behind on our payments. We had nothing but problems with the computer for the first six months. Right then and there I should have sent it back, but instead they gave us a new tower with no problem. We had no ideal we applied for a credit card with a 25% interest rate. I figured I could pay it off within a year. Two and half years later, with supposedly late charges and finance charges my 2,000 dollar computer has only went down $200.00 I been sending these people money on a regular basis. But it doesn't matter. You won't believe I sent them $500.00 dollars last month and I still owe 1800. Sickening ha?
